Poker mindset training
The complete free program for training the player, not the cards.
What poker mindset training actually is
Mindset training is deliberate practice of the skills that decide whether you can reach what you already know: attention, emotional regulation, patience, self-talk and recovery. It is not motivation and it is not strategy.
Why studying more does not fix tilt
Strategy knowledge is stored; state determines access. When frustration or fatigue rises, decision quality drops even though your knowledge is unchanged. That gap is trainable — but only with different tools.
The three phases of a trained player
Prepare: arrive in a measured state instead of hoping for one. Perform: hold discipline while variance is happening. Reflect: grade your decisions, not your results, so the next session starts clean.
How to start this week
Run a readiness check before your next session, build one five-minute pre-session ritual, and use a 60-second reset the moment you notice emotion leading. Repeat for seven days before judging it.
